25 Hour Misunderstandings is about unveiling shrouded subjectivities behind official looking presentations. I asked a group of artists, filmmakers, scientists, writers and activists to forward emails, articles and headlines within a 24-hour period. I created documents from the data I received and used each remaining hour of the twenty four hour period to respond by making a second, paired object. Each of the pair are the same size and are displayed in a book-like diptych, reminiscent of the display of cultural artifacts; data document on the left, and my reaction to it on the right.
